It is recommended that the Forum note the following traffic treatments and parking changes approved under Delegation 72b) of the Register of Delegations from CEO to directors and staff (18 December 2025) and in accordance with the TfNSW Instrument of Delegation and Authorisation Traffic Management and Pedestrian Works Temporary Delegation to Councils No. 2.
These changes are proposed to support the inroad tree planting program at various locations in the LGA.

Background
As part of the Inroad Tree Planting Program, the City
proposes to install several kerb blisters throughout the LGA as referenced from
Table 1 above.
To achieve our adopted target of 27% canopy cover across the City of Sydney area, the City has set the following targets for the three main land use types:
Streets - 34% canopy cover by 2050, (at 30.1% in 2024).
Parks - 46% canopy cover by 2050, (at 35% in 2024).
Private land - 20% canopy cover by 2050, (at 14.1% in 2024).
The canopy gap on our streets amounts to 24ha - the equivalent of 13.6 Sydney Cricket Grounds or around 3,000 trees. To fill this gap the city has been planting tree in streets through public domain upgrades and renewals, and the Inroad Planting Program.
