Recommendation

It is recommended that the Forum review the reallocation of parking on the western side of Ebsworth Street, Zetland as follows:

(A)       Between the points 64.5 metres and 72.3 metres south of Tweed Place as “4P Mobility Parking 8am-10pm”; and

(B)       Between the points 72.3 metres and 76.5 metres south of Tweed Place as “P Motorbike Only”.

Background

Our Inclusion (Disability) Action Plan 2021-2025 (IDAP) includes a series of actions to actively address barriers faced by people with disability.

One of the IDAP actions is to “continue to explore and implement strategies to increase access to on-street and off-street accessible parking and drop off points in the City of Sydney area”.

Therefore, the City is proposing to install "4P Mobility Parking Only 8am-10pm" in Ebsworth Street, Zetland.
